Back at Singularity University
Here's my keynote for the SU Global Summit back in 2018. It was truly rewarding traveling around the world giving talks for SU: Bangkok, Athens, Tokyo, Johannesburg, Sao Paulo, and more. I'll be returning for a lecture at their Executive Program Nov 4-8 in Mountain View.

SciFi, Fantasy, & Me
I offer a partial recommendation for Echo of Worlds.
While the series as a whole is a fascinating thought experiment multiversal empires at war, this finale stumbles. It resolves a complex, messy conflict by simply deciding one side was the "bad guys" all along—an unsatisfyingly neat end to a richly built world.
It's a fun ride (superintelligent goo!), but a reminder that in the most interesting stories, as in life, the lines are rarely that clean.
